Before you download.

Is Weather24 free?
Yes. The forecast, the radar and the city pages are free. A premium subscription unlocks the full radar layers, storm and hurricane alerts, and removes ads.
What can I use without installing anything?
The rain radar, the lightning map and every city page work in your browser, free and without an account. What the app adds is the part a web page can’t do: alerts that arrive before the storm, and widgets on your home screen.
Which regions are covered?
The forecast is global. Radar and lightning coverage is global too, though resolution varies by region — it’s finest over Europe and North America.
How accurate is the radar?
Honest answer: the precipitation layer is model data on an hourly step, not an observed radar sweep, so treat it as a very good estimate rather than a measurement. Lightning is different — those are real measured strikes, placed where they were detected.
Do you send official weather warnings?
No. Our alerts tell you a storm cell is heading your way; official warnings are issued by national services — DWD in Germany, Protezione Civile in Italy, the National Weather Service in the US. When a warning is in force, their bulletin is the authority.
