Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Weather24 mobile application and the website at weather24.app (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by the team behind Weather24 ("Weather24", "we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at support@weather24.app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. The Service

Weather24 provides weather information — including current conditions, forecasts, radar and map layers, severe-weather and cyclone information, air quality, and related data — sourced from third-party meteorological providers and public data feeds. The Service is provided for general informational and personal, non-commercial use only.

Weather data is an estimate, not a guarantee. Forecasts, radar, alerts, storm tracks, and all other meteorological content are predictions and approximations produced by models and third parties. They may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Do not rely on the Service for any decision where inaccuracy could lead to injury, death, or property loss — including aviation, marine navigation, commercial operations, or emergency and life-safety decisions. Always consult official government weather and emergency services.

4. Subscriptions and payments

4.1 Premium

Some features require a paid subscription ("Premium"). Prices, billing periods, and any free-trial terms are shown in the app before you purchase.

4.2 Billing through the app stores

All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their terms, not directly by us. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

4.3 Free trials

If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription automatically.

4.4 Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled solely by Apple or Google under their policies — we cannot issue store refunds directly.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its data; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or API keys except where permitted by law; (c) interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; (d) use the Service in violation of any law or third-party rights; or (e) use automated means to access the Service beyond normal app usage.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by Weather24 or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. Weather data remains subject to the rights and attribution requirements of its original providers.

7. Third-party services and data

The Service relies on third-party data sources and platforms (weather-model providers, mapping and radar sources, analytics, attribution, and the app stores). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, TIMELINESS, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any forecast, alert, or datum is accurate or complete.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEATHER24 AND ITS OPERATORS, SUPPLIERS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE OR ANY RELIANCE ON WEATHER DATA — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 20.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Weather24 and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm or legal exposure. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
